Jakarta (Bisnis.com) The Indonesian Ministry of Trade will continue negotiations with Australia in relation to efforts to lower the price of feeder cattle to put downward pressure on the price of beef in the retail market. Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita said he will accompany President Joko Widodo during his visit to Australia which is scheduled to take place later this month. “If it goes down, then we will ask all feedlots to calculate their prices and that will reestablish the retail price,” he explained at a press conference after a Trade Ministry working meeting on Wednesday (02/22/2017).
