JAKARTA (Kontan) Indonesia has finally filed an appeal in relation to the decision of the World Trade Organization (WTO) which ruled in favor of the United States (US) and New Zealand over alleged import restrictions applied by Indonesia to food products such as beef, poultry and horticulture.
There are at least 18 rules restricting imports of horticultural products, animals, and animal products implemented by Indonesia. Some of the products with restrictions include apples, grapes, potatoes, onions, flowers, juices, dried fruit, cattle, chickens and beef.
