Jakarta (Kompas) Managing Director of Indonesia’s State Logistics Agency (Bulog) Djarot Kusumayakti said that presently the company has imported 100 tonnes of frozen beef from Spain. The importation was intended to test the beef market in Indonesia to see whether it is OK with beef from Spain. “That was just a trial one or two months ago, the amount was 100 tonnes, it was beef, and the retail price was Rp 75,000  ($AUD 7.56) per kilogram frozen,” said Djarot to Kompas.com, Sabtu (25/2/2017).
