JAKARTA (MEDIA INDONESIA) – The Government will continue to pour imported meat into the market. This will be done to bring fresh beef prices back under Rp 100,000 (AUD 9.99) per kilogram.

“Meat will continue to be poured in. We have to import, for meat, so the price comes back to the right track,” said Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita in Jakarta on Wednesday (19/4).

Enggar continued that his side is also continuing to open meat import licenses, especially for buffalo meat, to the State Logistics Agency (Bulog).
